We have a new family member and travel companion - Buddha Boy Jasper (Jasper) - an 8 week old Chocolate Labrador retriever that we picked up yesterday from White Robin Kennels in Princeton, B.C. While we were camping at Haynes Point Provincial Park (just south of Osoyoos, BC and just north of the U.S. border) this week, I got the brilliant idea to take my 12 year old, diabetic cat, Vic, out for a float in my kayak. The beach at Okanagan Falls, British Columbia (about 20 minutes drive from where I live) is one of my favorite beaches in the Okanagan.
