Today was definitely a better day than yesterday – in SO many ways.
First stop was at Camping World in Liberty Lake where Ed bought a surge protector for the RV and I got all the fun stuff like camping themed Christmas cards, a t-shirt printed with “Home is Where you Park it” and some dog toys.
We then went across the street to look at the RV’s at Freedom RV where Tony showed us around and pumped us full of good information. I think the next RV might have to be a motorhome. Boy, there are some nice rigs out there.
We then headed into Spokane for my twice-annual shop at J.Jill’s and Pottery Barn. I melted the credit card at the first so I ran through the second without stopping. Did P.F. Chang’s for lunch and saw Cloud Atlas (which I really did NOT enjoy) at the AMC Imax.
The only disappointment was purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S III at AT&T only to return to pick it up later and discover that the pay-as-you-go plan I’d bought was not yet available on that model. Bummer. Stuck with the iPhone 3 for another few months.
Also walked Jasper a few times throughout the day – that being the best part.
I took him up AND down the Red Flyer. As you can see in the picture, he bailed half way through – but at least he was game.

Hi Ros and Ed,
happy to read that NOV_02 was much better than NOV_01!
(Spokane is in state of WASHINGTON, isn’t it?)
Have a nice trip! (is your satellite connection working?)
Cheers, Tibor.

Hi Tibor,
Thanks! Yes, Spokane is in Washington State, about 5 hours south-east of Penticton.
Right now, I’m working off a campground wi-fi connection, so we don’t need satellite. 🙂
Cheers,
Ros
