Well, I just finished prepping the house and there’s still 24 hours left before my friends start arriving for our Christmas dinner festivities. Somewhere in between polishing the stemware and washing the kitchen floor, I realized that I already have almost everything I wanted for Christmas.
The safe return of my good friend from north of 60 (that’s the 60th parallel where it’s minus 42 degrees celsius at the moment).
Plans with loved ones (in other words, the people who know you best but like you anyway).
The arrival of my Amazon order of 12 old Meryl Streep movies that I either didn’t have or hadn’t seen.
Fully functional servers (thank you, Steve!).
A definite plan to work directly with you in 2009 (one-on-one coaching, phone number & all) to help you get your Internet business off the ground… details of which whill be released just as soon as I’ve got a functional desktop* again (* Christmas wish #7 yet to be realized), most likely shortly after I get back from Affiliate Summit (if it’s the motherboard as Ori suspects).
Six out of 7 realized wishes is pretty remarkable. Only slightly less if you count the usual ‘peace on earth’.
And this one I fervently hope comes true… a wish for you and yours to enjoy all the very best of the season – a happy and safe holiday, good times with family and friends, prosperity in the New Year and the ability to share generously with those less fortunate.
So, what are/were you Christmas wishes? Care to share? Please leave a comment below.

Hi Ros,
Hope you had a merry ho ho ho. The scene in the lower mainland (especially over at my parents’ in Delta) was very similar to your snowfest. I’m curious… do you actually drive around town still or do you just hop on your skiis?
The very best to you in 2009 (and beyond!).
ps. Thanks again for your input to the Future Of Information Marketing series.

Hi Rob,
It was lovely, thank you. I hope yours was likewise.
As to skiing into town… if it weren’t for the extremely steep hill between my place and Starbucks, Safeway, the bank etc., I would definitely ski in at the moment. Goodness knows that the snow removal here isn’t sufficient to actually remove the snow. π
A happy, healthy and prosperous 2009 to you and yours!
Cheers,
Ros

Hi Rosalind,
I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. I envy you right now! I have not seen snow in years. Happy New Year!
Rosalind Gardner says
Hi Stefani,
It was a lovely Christmas, thank you. I hope yours was likewise.
Speaking of snow… it’s snowing hard at the moment, so it must be time to get out for a ski. π
Cheers,
Ros

Hey Ros,
I love your photos, everything looks so warm and homely amongst all that snow. I’ve spent most of my life living in Australia and NZ, so I haven’t experienced a traditional white Christmas yet. I believe I’ve just added a new To Do whilst my parents are still with us. Enjoy a white Christmas with loved ones π
Happy Holidays Ros

Hi Ros
Just ran across your blog today.
The snow looks wonderful. Here in our part of Ohio all we had before Christmas was rain. Lots and lots of rain. Had it been snow we would have been up to our armpits in it. Perhaps we were better off with the rain. Christmas day however was a beautiful day. We spent it with the family and on the way home there was the most wonderful sunset. Perhaps the most colorful I have ever seen. I thought about stopping and taking a photo, but realized that a photo would never do it justice. They are never as good as the real thing.
Thanks for the great blog, I will be back often.

Thank you for the well wishes in the upcoming year. Your blog is really one of the most informative out there. Thanks for making the commitment to keep it updated regularly. No easy thing to do, when you are giving out great advice.
Thanks for being you. Keep on doing it, it works for you π
Have a safe and Happy New Years and looking forward to a very prosperous 2009.
Cheers,

Hi Ros,
Re Coaching, personally speaking, I think it would be just dandy to have you handhold your mentee until they can get their first website up and running wiIth you providing the guidance and assistance in the nitty gritty details of how to do the niche research etc. Just being available to answer questions in close to real-time when someone has a brain block and can’t proceed or make sense of what they’re seeing.
Once the first website is up and running, I think you could just take a back seat and let the mentee run with it.
What do you think?
Rosalind Gardner says
Hi Archana,
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head about what I’m planning. π
I just need to figure a way to limit the scope to a number that I can handle and still give everyone who joins the club what they need. Easier said than done, so far… but I’ll figure it out.
Cheers,
Ros

Franck Silvestre says
Happy New Year, Ros! I am sure you had a blast partying with friends and family last holidays. Btw, your place looks homey and cozy.
Many are looking forward to hear from you and your amazing products and speaking engagements for 2009. Kudos!
Rosalind Gardner says
Hi Franck,
Happy New Year to you too… and I do apologize for my relative silence of late. I’ve been re-working an affiliate site in its entirety… getting all the articles / reviews into WordPress. WHAT a big job, especially when you go through each of the reviews and re-review the product!
But I promise, I’ll be back out in a few days with news. π
Cheers,
Ros
