If you aren’t a Mac person, and you buy and iPad like I did recently, you REALLY need to get the book iPad: The Missing Manual to figure it out.
Here’s a link to the author’s vid. OK, admittedly, she does seem a little odd – but never mind, her content is good.
I don’t know that I could not have made as much of much of my iPad without the book.
This really IS the missing iPad manual.

Indeed — I thought I’d stumbled on to an SNL skit starring Molly Shannon… 😉
The product does look rather cool, and I’d definitely need the manual as I come from a PC-tilted world.

Hi Jon,
Indeed! 🙂 But her book comes across as completely ‘normal’ … whatever that might be.

Thanks Rosalind! I just got my iPad today and cannot believe there’s no manual. I’m trying to figure out how to get past the iTunes icon. I’m definitely purchasing the manual.

Hi Tiffany,
My pleasure. Most of the iPad seems pretty intuitive (even for a non-Mac person like me) but that manual IS handy.
Happy iPad-ing.
Cheers,
Ros

Although I do have a website that I post on which I will be the first one to tell you that I have sort of neglected it lately. It is one of those FREE “Blog” websites from ‘Blogger.com”.
I just wanted to say to Ros, and everyone that I want an iPad 2 soooooooooooooooo much!
I intend to have one in the very near future!! My daughter has the iPad #1 and she absolutely LOVES hers!
I am a very very new, (Newbie) in the field of ‘Affiliate Marketing” and I just signed up for the Rosalind Gardner “Academy”, because to me, she is the Queen of Affiliate Marketing!! I hope to purchase a website, and a Hosting service in the near future. I LOVE YOU ROS! You are my inspiration!

I’ve bought three “The Missing Manual” books series already. They are “Dreamweaver CS3,” “CSS,” and “iPad2.” I was enticed to buy them, because of 20% plus 10% off at Barnes and Noble. I would never buy a fourth one anymore, no matter how much the discount on the price would be. The content of the books are not straightforward in teaching you how to do it. In conclusion, these book series should be considered or titled with, “The CONFUSING manual.”

Funny that the video isn’t iPad compatible. Lol. Glad that I have the iswifter app. I will go watch the video now.

OMG, that IS funny! Thanks for mentioning it, Mike. 🙂
