Cross Country Skiing on Chute Lake
Ed and I drove up to Chute Lake yesterday to do some cross country skiing. Chute Lake is approximately 20 miles north of Penticton via the Naramata Road which sits at an elevation of almost 4,000 feet above sea level. Point Pelee: Canada's Southernmost Point Moving North
We watched a sad report on the news the other night which stated that the sandbar at Point Pelee, Canada's southernmost point, is disappearing. Historically, when the water level in Lake Erie is low, the sand bar at Point Pelee extends far out into the lake.
