Two Nights in Bangkok

Ed and I must have passed the big sign for the Arizona Renaissance Festival on Highway 60 in Gold Canyon, 100 times before finally deciding to check it out this year. Arizona Wildflowers 2019
I'm not sure whether it was due to the cold and wet weather we had this winter, or in spite of it, but the Arizona wildflowers are showing up in abundance in the spring of 2019. Starting in January I saw the odd lupine and poppy on the trails in McDowell Mountain Regional Park where we spend part of the winter, but now, in mid-March, the display is, in fact, absolutely spectacular.
